Model by Derek Pennington
Derek built this model using the 1/72 scale Heller DC-6 kit, and he used Leading Edge decals. The kit-provided water tank was nothing like the one used by the Canadians, so Derek made his own watertank out of obeche and then vacuformed it.
For painting his model, Derek used Model Master Classic White uppers, Humbrol Gloss Grey, and Metalcote for the rest of the plane.
